SMM12 March 10: after entering the heating season, affected by heavy pollution weather control, according to SMM statistics, a total of 27 alumina enterprises in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas + Fen-Wei Plain within the "2X26" city, including Shanxi, Henan, Shandong provinces, 14 cities. The total annual production capacity of alumina is 63.4 million tons, accounting for 72.5% of the national annual production capacity, and the annual operating capacity is 50.51 million tons, accounting for 73.6% of the national annual production capacity. "check the details.

Recently, it is reported that Dongfang hopes that Jinzhong Alumina Company will reduce its production capacity by 1 million tons per year; Dongfang hopes that Sanmenxia Aluminum Company will reduce its production capacity by 700000 tons per year; and Luoyang Xiangjiang Wanji Aluminum Company will operate only one of the three roasting furnaces, affecting the production capacity of 400000 tons per year.

The consumption in the lower reaches of the industrial chain is better, and the aluminum pool remains low and goes to the warehouse again. Today, SMM statistics domestic electrolytic aluminum social inventory of 596000 tons, weekly reduction of 4000 tons, different consumption of inventory increases or decreases, the South China Sea contributed mainly to the decline.

At present, due to the impact of the reduction in production in the heating season and the decline in the operating rate of some alumina enterprises, the supply of alumina has fallen, coupled with the fact that downstream consumption is not significantly narrowed, alumina prices have upward momentum.
